Camera questions

I was thinking that it might be possible to link like 3-4 of those little wireless home security cameras and then record them when I'm at the dragstrip. Do any of those monitors have the ability to record stuff? What I was envisioning is the screen being split into 4 views and then recording that as I make passes at the track. Is there any validity to this kind of setup or should I just persure some kind of hardwire setup to a regular old video camera? I was just thinking the multiple views would be a lot more interesting than one camera pointing forward.

Might be able to rig something up via a PC. Have a laptop?

Yes I do. I use it when jetting my nitrous (logging the data from the run and glancing at real time graphs). However, I just got a decent baseline for a while on the 80hp jets so it'll just be collecting dust. I also have a converter that plugs into the power point and provides 120v AC.

I'm sure there is a way to do it with the new wi-fi cameras and stuff. I searched around a bit, but I just don't think the video would be all that great. 30fps isn't worth spending $300 on. You may just want to go the old school route and have a couple friends with video cameras tape the run, then edit all the clips together. The video quality would be much better that way.
