okay so there is one straight plug that goes to the radio, then that goes to another plug, finally there is another plug behind the second plug. and which side does the plug go down

Ha, sounds weird. Let me recap.
Your stock bezel has a wire running from the radio button/LCD section at the upper portion of the bezel.
That wire runs to your truck where there is a very thin and long plug, this is probably where you first unhooked your bezel during removal.
If you follow the wire running from that plug back into the dash you'll find the plug you're looking for. It'll be just like the image on the first page.
we dont have stock bezel here could you describe what they might look like. we found one that looks exactly like what the diagram shows but the plug that we are using came out of the radio as one long plug and the went into the dash into another juntion plug. is that the right one

I don't believe so, unless you happened to follow the right plug from the radio.
So what happened to your stock bezel?

Here you can see where I wired up the SWIX. The little blue connectors are on the right wires. If you look closely you should be able to tell the wire colors. The colors are Green to Green, Blue to Blue, and Yellow to Red.
There is only one plug in there that looks like the one in the picture! Theres only one plug with the clip part going over 4 pins and has 2 rows of 12 pins..
If you find it thats the one and only.
Iw as gogin to use those blue splices, but stupid me I soldered mine and I can't ge teh PAC to work with my HU unless I hold the LED in my hand and point it at the CD player.. lol
Waste of money time and Hole Drilling...

I've found that it usually only pays to solder if absolutely necessary, like where quality conections are an issue or soldering on those resistors. It was much easier just crimping those splices in.
If it makes you feel any better I drilled my Scosche bezel, then my Nissan bezel twice. Didn't matter much since I was fiberglassing and filling the the thing anyways.
Well the SWIX itself is grounded (black wire), but you ground out pin 14, which I believe is the blue wire in the picture. The instructions cover all this.
I agree, I should have used the connectors, cause I don't think I will be keeping my PAC as I can't get a good enough angle from the LED to make it work with my HU...Unless I leave it taped to the front of the bezel, then it works but looks ghetto.
How are you going to color match the paint for the Bezel?
