FM Tuner

hi all
i just bought my Titan two days ago
it came with RF sterio, i am having a problem with the FM tuner that only changes in "odd" numbers only ex. 101.1, 101.3, 101.5 etc.(US system) not 101.1, 101.2, 101.3 etc
i live outside the US and i need to tune in all the FM range i just want to ask if there is anything that i can buy or do to fix this problem

any input is apreciated
thanks

You'll need a HU with "European" options.

I gather you imported the Titan from the U.S.?

The OEM tuner was probably never designed for European FM standards. You will need to replace the head unit with an aftermarket one. You can order adapter kits which include a double-DIN bezel that will accomdate a single or double DIN head unit. The XE version of the Titan uses the same bezel. It's been said the OEM XE bezel is better fitting than an aftermarket one.

Another route is to get a separate tuner of some sort and connect it to the Aux input jack on the dash.

Good luck!

I believe the armada is availabe in the middle east. Perhaps you can get the tuner from there, and swap it.

Wholly smoke, it must have cost a fortune to bring a Titan into Saudi Arabia!!! Would it be cheaper to get XM or Sirious satelitte FM there?

Thanks Nestor & PuvMan i will follow you valuable advice
& yes kvoman i payed around 30% extra on the titan price to have it imported to saudi arabia.I heard from the dealer that they are consedering importing Titans in the next 2-3 years (i am not waiting that long) specially that the Armada is booming here

but i tell you, it is the best 4x4 car that i ever drove (i had nissan Patrol, Toyota VXR and GMC seira).

thanks & regards
