Stereo Install

Hi guy's, I'm new to this forum and need some advice. I'm in the process of getting together all of the components I need for my stereo. I already have subs 2 HX2 12's and two RF power 1000a2 amps. I also have Infinity 60.5 components and 63.5 speakers along with a MTX 4340 4 channel amp and all the wireing, fuses, blocks and so forth for the install. I want to replace the front 6x9's with Infinity 693.5's. I have almost everything I need except time to build the box and to do the install.

Problem #1. There seems to be very little room behind the seat to mount the amps, caps and distribution block.
Problem #2. There's no where under the hood to mount the extra two Optima batteries for the p/1000 amps.
Problem #3. I really don't want to tear the back seat out of my truck. I had this set-up in a previous vehicle (suv) and had a lot of time, money, ect... invested in the system and was really pleased with the system. I'm leary of area shops because when I purchased my Titan there were three Titans there with thier entire electrical systems fried b'cause the shops did something wrong on the installs.

Is it worth the time and money to try and install this set-up in the Titan or just sell it and become an old fogy-stogy.

Maybe get a locking hard touneau cover and mount your batteries and caps and stuff back there. Finding room for the subs in the cab will be the problem.

not sure which model 05 you have but if you're back window is power I don't an amp rack can go back there. Do you really need 2 optimas? I don't think the electrical system can handle that much of a load. I think you'll have to shrink your set up a little.

Do you have a king cab or a crew cab? Do you have the power windows?

You will have to think smarter to get sound in a titan. Use more effecient speakers, and more effecient amps than what you have. Remember to gain 1db of volume you need to double your power, so play close attention to your sensitivity levels when choosing equipment (if loud is what your going for)

My suggestions are first ditch the 2nd optima yellow top (you can send it to me if you need to, hell Ill even pay shipping) You won't get it in there. 2nd As much as it sucks, you will probably have to find some smaller amps, IMHO 2 1000a2 is not the best use of space.

What are your plans for a HU? Do you already have one?

There are many different ways to do it. To install your current equip, getting that much sound into the truck will be very difficult and costly, and you will most likely be w/o rear seats afterwards. Or you can scale down the system, go for quality instead of volume and fit plenty of great equipment in the titan. We have some of the deepest doors I have ever worked on. We can fill them with some great drivers. Subs are the only thing that we don't have the best room for, but if your creative you can come up with some fantastic ideas, search this forum, you will find many very very creative solutions to your problems.

I had spent upwards of 8k having all this topend stereo stuff put in my last car (acura RL) and it sounded great. I never thought I would be able to get that kind of sound in my truck due to lack of space, but with some research and help of many very bright people online I was able to surpass what my car was with under 3k into stereo in my truck.... (well except for the subs, but thats a different story)
