Reverse wire harness- Orange/black wire?

Guys, those of you who have used the reverse harness for keeping the stock unit.

The Orange/black wire. it says its the Illumination ground? The other wiring harness does not have this wire. its just on the reverse harness, can I attach this to the radio ground also? The regular harness does not have the orange/black, just the orange for illumination.

Thanks Chris.

I did not use that wire. I believe illumination ground is used in situations where it is grounded through a variable resistor to control a dimmer. I was concerned that grounding that wire would create a short to ground and blow a fuse or something.

Where did you get the reverse harness? I'm thinking about hooking up the RF system in my garage.
