Factory Navigation System

I asked that very question about 3 months ago or less and was told that if your truck did not come with a factory navigation system you could not put one in since the wiring harness was different. I also checked this out with the local Nissan dealer and they told me the only thing I could do was to add an aftermarket system or sell the truck and get one with a factory system in it. This forum also said that we would be much better off adding an aftermarket system becasue you could do so much more with it.(computer, navigation, TV, DVD and backup camera). Hope this helps, if you hear any different let me know.

Correct. It isn't just wire it in. The harness is different and its tied into the AC, Stereo, etc. You'd have to replace most of the electrical system and computer to get a stock one to work. Try Garmin or get an aftermarket one like Pioneer or Alpine.

No Nav kit is available. The Club Armada guys just installed the dash parts so they could put a monitor in the dash, not the factory nav. You can't just install the plastic harness. You can install a new stereo, if you do or do not have the NAV with a plug in harness, but the NAV has different wiring throughout and is not prewired. It would cost a few grand (3) in parts to do and take a lot of hours. Probably be about $4k when you are done. I know, I was an installer for 3 years. It would be much cheaper to install an aftermarket NAV in the dash and it would be a better system.

I built on myself and installed in my Titan. I bought the Nav bezels and built a mini ITX computer. Works fine.

Installed computer and GPS system
