MTX is making a Thunderform for the Titan

Check it out folks, MTX audio is making a Thunderform for the Titan. I actually work for MTX so why not throw out some free advertising. My truck is pictured in the ad. I hope to have the first one for testing soon. I'll keep you all posted.

EDIT: Sorry didn't read further into the forum. Looks like the topic is already started.

MSRP hasn't been established. I work in the engineering depart in Phoenix, Phoenix does all the amplifiers. Our facilities in the midwest take care of the speaker and enclosures. I'll put a bug in sales ear to get an estimate on MSRP.

Is this like the JL Stealthbox, in that it is only offered with subs included?

Re: MTX is making a Thunderform for the Titan

Just got word from our Thunderform engineers that they are running the pre production versions of Titan Thunderform tomorrow. (1/20/06) I've got mine on order. They are coming in 2 colors, Dark and Light Gray. Loaded, unloaded, and amped. 200watts. Tomorrow is my last day at MTX so that is the last bit of good information I can give.

Just curious...but why would you leave MTX? I know everyone has thier own reasons, but I would think that working at a major car audio manufacturer would be awesome!

The drive was too far (80 miles round trip) and the audio industry is falling rapidly. MTX has cut lots of positions and sent them to China to get cheapers rates and more profits. Better to walk out the front door then get kicked out the back.

Its been my experiance that a job that is fun, never pays either, your there because you love what you do. I really wasn't an audio nut but it was a fun job. My ears still seem to ring.

Pricing was around $700. Don't quote me on that.

Re: MTX is making a Thunderform for the Titan

Has anyone purchased one of these yet? I seen the unloaded for $299 at this website. http://www.audio-n-more.com/Merchant...ry_Code=NISSAN

I am interested in how this will sound. I know it is made out of polyurethane and on their website I see no reference to any wood being used in the construction. I don't know if that is bad or good but I never physically heard an enclosure made of anything other then wood (MDF). Has anyone ever had a chance to listen to any of their thunderform products whether in a titan or any vehicle?

Thanks for any info you can provide
