Nav System - vehicle in motion

One of the things that drives me crazy with the stock nav system is that features are disabled when the truck is moving. Has anyone been able to bypass this feature? In the service manual, there appears to be a signal wire for vehicle in motion, but I don't know if this wire is also needed for the fuel economy, distance to empty, and so on.

I also looked at wiring for the Titan and it appears to be the identical wire described in that article.

freshalloy or even www.clubarmada.com have a how to on this. Basically a simple switch you can throw to make your nav. thinked it's park.
