R/F reception

Is there any recent news concerning what Nissan intends to do about the lousy reception on the R/F radio? I have had the "updated" unit installed....still REALLY bad. I shipped my complaint to Nissan...of course, no reply.

Where do you live and how far away are the radio stations that you listen to?

I live between Detroit and Toledo. Several major stations are available. I have never had any reception problems with any other vehicle including the Pathfinder I traded for the Titan. It really has me scratching my head...can't think of any solutions. When the dealer put in the "updated" radio, they also replaced the antenna and cables.

Not sure but it might have something to do with Lake Erie. Seriously I have no clue. I have the new radio and occasionaly it fades in and out or gives me static. In Chicago you cannot go 10 feet without bumping into another antenna so I cannot account for it either.
