Question Navagation disply question

My '05 Titan has a Nav sys.. From time to time the radio display has red, white and blue stripes on either side of the channel display. Am I the only one that sees them or what? Just about when I think I must have been dreaming there they are again.

If they look like a rainbow, this is a fairly common experience, apparently a glitch related to the dual climate control feature found on Armadas and the new Titans.

Take it to the service manager and tell them they need to get you a new DVD player - it is under warranty and there was a service bulletin put out on them. I did this a long time ago and no longer have to deal with it. It comes from the fact that they used the same unit on the Armada which has dual climate controls.

comment on the dual climate control system - while "PIMP" and cool looking with the screen, i must say the "manual" system in the titan is ALOT easier and quicker to use than the dual/auto system in the QX56 (aunt has one) which i'm assuming is identical to the Armada.

So while it would have been nice to get it in the titan, i'm very happy with the set up in the 04-05 Titan.

Thanks Roy, only problem is if you asked me I'd like the rainbow affect to stay on, not go away. This from someone who should know better than to get wrapped up in whistles and bells.
