Aftermarket DVD

Need some help. Well, that too!!

I have a 2005 cc se titan with the non RF radio. I do have the controls for the back seat with the selectors and headphone jacks. Does anyone know what the best aftermarket dvd is that will hook up and work thru the dvd selector on the radio, and will fit in the drop down screen holder.

Thanks

If you want it to fit in the factory drop down, Myron & Davis make a 7 in. and a 9 in.

I use a Blaupunkt ME3 built in tv tuner and can play a wide variety of format, it is hooked up to the factory harness so it plays thru the stereo system w/ out FM modulator. You cannot however control the dvd player itself with the factory HU.

The best price I've seen for the M&D system is here.

Yes it's hook up to the factory harness, let me select "DVD" from the steering wheel controller. Very easy to do. Here's a how to by member "llajumpvid". Just goto Radio Shack and get some RCA cable with one end already strip out.

Re: Aftermarket DVD

Baseballfanz: I am assuming this allows you to use the controls in the rear console too, correct? I am looking to doa CarPC with a rear monitor like yours. I want the back seat controls to be functional as well.
