Lost Time--Radio Clock MIA

I recently installed an inline amp to boost the aux. input behind the center dash panel for a sat. radio installation. Other than having a little difficulty resetting the air bag light, everything went well. I thought I was in the clear and then I noticed last night my radio display no longer displays the time. Has anyone else had this happen and if so, what's the fix? Thanks in advance.

Re: Lost Time--Radio Clock MIA

Have you lost all your presets as well? I haven't heard of this problem before, but it makes me think isolation. The clock is continally powered so it's possible that the clock is fused seperately. I'd double check any fuse even remotely related to radio.

Likely not the solution, but a place to start.

Thanks Wolverine. I'll check the fuses.

Yep, presets are gone too. But that's not so much a problem with the new sat. tuner

Re: Lost Time--Radio Clock MIA

My clock is MIA too.
It went missing while the Titan was at the dealer for the 4th time trying to find my AM signal which went MIA last year.

So, now, I have no AM signal AND no clock.

Nope. Took another look at it last weekend. I'll tackle it again this weekend...maybe with a little more time and patience.

try removing the negative cable for 10-15 minutes then put it back on. It worked for me.

Re: Lost Time--Radio Clock MIA

Radio #3 installed today after filing a formal complaint with corporate.

Happy to report that all my AM signals are working along with the freakin' clock!

note: for the first time ever, the dealer re-programmed the radio with all my presets and set the proper time...i had to blink a few times to make sure i was in reality.
