Installing Jensen in dash DVD

I just picked this up the other day and was wondering if anyone has installed one of these and is getting it to play while driving as simple as grounding the parking brake wire on the truck. If anyone has experiences with this unit let me know too, deciding if I should keep it or return it. Thanks guys, its a jensen vm9410

Re: Installing Jensen in dash DVD

First, yes it is just that simple. Just try a few different power or grounding points to see what one works for Jensen and splice the wire, tie it together and shazaam, your "E-Brake" is alwasy on!

Installation of that unit is not bad if you have done them before. If you havn't you might want to have an experienced friend help you because the seperate "brain" is kinda tricky sometimes. If you have any specific questions just PM me and I'll do my best.

I have the Jensen DD in my truck and I installed it myself with absolutely no problems. I also installed a panasonic motorized screen in my Titan as well for just a couple of days. No big deal really because their is a lot of room behind the factory radio.

Re: Installing Jensen in dash DVD

I have done 3 or 4 of they style units (kenwood, alpine, panasonic), grounding the sidebreak does the job.
