installing a system but keeping stock HU

Ok,im putting in a system but im not financially ready to swap out my HU.I will be installing a LOC and i want to get it as close to the HU as possible.I would rather this be as easy as possible so i figured i would ask on here to see where is the easiest access to speaker wires for me to hook up the LOC

Thanks
John

Buy a Scosche NN03B and NN03RB wiring harness. The RB harness is a reverse harness. This allows you to do all your taps and splits inside and solder them if you wish. Then simply plug this new harness in between your HU and OEM harness.

The reverse harness might be hard to find locally if that what you're asking. Trying searching online, last time I checked they were pretty easy to find.

Re: installing a system but keeping stock HU

Just grab it with your fingers at one corner and pull it off. After you pull off the bezel you have to release the wire connectors on the back side.

Re: installing a system but keeping stock HU

I used a plastic paint scraper to get between the top crack and pried it off. I used a flimsly plastic scraper so I knew it would break before the dash did.

I did this yesterday so it's fresh in my mind...feel free to shoot a question.

FYI it doesn't come off easy.

FYI

I have a NavOne 4 channel LOC I won't be using. I'll let it go for a good price if you're interested.
