Who has replaced stock RF sub with 10"?

I only want a 10" sub where the stock sub is. For those of who have done it:
Was it easy to do?
Did you make the box?
How much amp did you use?
Any info appreciated.

Re: Who has replaced stock RF sub with 10"?

I put an earthquake sws-10 under my drivers seat. My box is ~.48 before displacement. It is downward firing underneath the drivers seat. I am powering it with 300w. It sounds much better than I hoped it to.

Heres my quote form another thread

Just measured it, 14x17x5 giving me ~.48 cubic before woofer. I used 1/2" birch. This box sits on 1.5" shims to cover the subwoofer excursion, you "could" sit it on 1" shims and increase the box size .5.
