I have the 6 cd changer, 6 speaker stock system, and was thinking of adding a powered subwoofer under the drivers seat. I found a Kenwood 150 watt 6.5", model KSC-SW1, powered sub that will fit easily under there. Will I feel the sound vibrating in the seat?? I'm not sure I want to feel every beat in my butt, or should I mount it under the passenger seat? Any replies would be helpful, thanks in advance.
Oh, the reason I want to go under the front seat is because I have the full parts tray under the rear king cab seats and don't want to remove it cause it's handy to have. Secondly, will this powered sub give me the extra thump I'm looking for.

I feel every beat in my butt from the stock sub right now. If you could do without one of the basins in your cargo tray I would cut one side out keeping the middle and other side and install a JL stealthbox.
Ok, now you have me leaning to mounting it under the passenger seat, still plenty of room. Keep the ideas flowing, thanks. The OEM tool tray in back has steel plates holding it in place on each end, cutting off one side would let it flop around back there, so that's out, but thanks.

I have the same tray in mine and it's going bye bye. It shouldn't be too hard to have a bracket fabbed to hold the middle. I'm going to be raising the rear seat 1 1/2" to make space.
