KC sub question?

I have a custom sub box with one JL 10w1v2 in it. Its the same sub that comes with there Stealthbox for the KC. My question is, should I get the Stealth box, as it has more air space, or should I have a new custom box built with 2 8w3v2's put in. Or even possibly keeping my current set up and add 6's into the KC rear doors? Ohh, and I have a JL 300/4 running the sub and Focal componets up front. Kenwood DDX6019 is going to be put in in 2-3 weeks.

Re: KC sub question?

Thats a good looking box. Thats exactly what I'd like for my KC but nobody seems to make them. I'd prefer downfiring but that does take up more space.

Re: KC sub question?

Well, if I decide to get a Stealth box, itll be for sale. Also, the company that made it for me kept the template so they can replicate it. Ill ask them what it would cost if your interested. The company is BLVD. Customs in Clearwater FL. They do all the work for the Dupont Registry cars.

Supercrew sound makes downfiring sub boxes for king cabs. I just ordered a double one for $139+s&h.

Re: KC sub question?

I'd like a single one that only sits on the passenger side. I thought I read on the web page the the single version they make is for the drivers side only.

Re: KC sub question?

couple pictures with the seat down. Blvd. Customs is calling me back with the price of the box w/o a sub in it, I dont remember what I paid. And I apologize for the dirty truck, I compete in strongman copetiitions so I use my truck alot, throwing my gym stuff and dirty equipment in the back of the cab.

Re: KC sub question?

Froom the pictures I've seen of the JL stealth for the Titan, with the seat down it looks pretty much the same as yours. I guess the question of the day is, are you happy with how it sounds? Stealthboxes are expensive, and for some vehicles where they are made to fit into odd shaped crevises, they are worth it. For the Titan though its basically a square box, and thats pretty much what you have.

Re: KC sub question?

That is deffinitely a good looking box. I have a single supercrew sound box and I would deffinitely rather have the box on the passenger side. How does it sound firing up into the seat?

Re: KC sub question?

It sounds real good. I was surprised out how much sound I got out of 1 sub in a kinda small box. And of course Im never 'happy' with my system. It could always be better. Im definetly gonna wait till I get a aftermarket HU in it before I make any decision to replace the sub/box combo I have now. I just thought that with the stealthbox I would gain some airspace and it might give me a little more thump.
