you could hook up your old walkman if you can't bring yourself to make the switch from cassette to CD. Anything with a headphone jack really.

I use mine with a walkman to play those ancient old cassettes that I have so many of. It works well just make sure your patch cord is stereo to stereo(3 wire) mini plug.

i just bought a 1 ft. shielded, stereo to stereo audio cable from radio shack today for my 2 gig mp3 player. cost: 4.99 +tax.

I use mine for my XM Radio Roady2 receiver. Much clearer than using the wireless FM transmitter that is built into the power adapter.
