Headrest lcd monitors with factory dvd

Has anyone added headrest monitors to the factory DVD system? Seems like it might be a good mod - the stock lcd screen is puny!

I got two 7" headrest monitors and universal headrests on ebay for $200. The gray color matches great and had my local shop tie into the factory DVD player and ready to roll.

Nooooo don't do it i was told by the installers here..they are finding now after a couple of years that the headrests are all messed up (son, humidity, etc)

get a couple of spare headrests if you plan to keep your beast and ^5!!

I was doing a search and found this thread.

I'm very interested in doing this mod. Buying replacement headrest with LCD monitors installed and running them to the factory DVD player.

1. Is this possible?
2. Which headrest units?
3. Anyone know a good installer in Portland/Vancouver area?

If you have done this mod.. please respond and post pics!
