Think this will work?

You guys think this will work with steering wheel controls. I have a Roady XM patched in thru the AUX. I would really like to change channels thru the wheel.

Re: Think this will work?

I tried this one (as well as Nissan's iPod connector), and the volume worked as it should, but the track up/down button swiched between radio/CD/aux. Neither device would change tracks when ipod is connected, or stations (presets) with XM. Other than that, it did deliver the signal well. I have the RF system in my truck (06).

This particular piece only allow for extra inputs, it does not allow for control of your Ipod (select songs, ect...) from the steering wheel control. Nissan make an interface that allow you to control your Ipod from the steering wheel or headunit.

Re: Think this will work?

Thanks. I'll pass on it. Just keep looking for a factory XM.
