I have the sirius starmate and it sounds real nice through my aux. Go buy a monster cable for your sat, it will be much better thats what I use.

Man, y'all have some serious problems with your systems... You may want to take your sled up to Nissan to have them check it out.

Re: sirus radio

Yea go to Best buy or Circuit City, Monster is a brand name, they make high end cables for audio and video. On my Starmate the sound is louder then the radio and comes in clear.

I'm serious, there's something wrong with your system... Every single component that I have (6 disk in dash, iPod, Sirius Starmate, stock Rockford Fosgate system w/8" sub, and now my (2) Memphis M Class 10"'s all work fine).

88.1 is usually used for an iTrip, or something that transmits frequency... I have the iTrip, and that was the biggest waste of money.

Re: sirus radio

I hid all my cables in my truc so you cant see them. I did this by splicing into the wires, power and the aux, real nice. I can post some pics if you want. I'm telling you the monster cable make a difference. The sound is better then the radio, but not as good as the cd.

Re: sirus radio

Sound like crap or just low volume?

Try this: Hardwired MP3 Player

The AUX input is known for being lower in volume than the CD or FM. But you will get better signal quality using the AUX than an FM modulator.
