Question CB Installation Questions

I will be installing a CB this weekend, and was wondering if anybody knew of a good place to run the CB Antenna wire through the firewall, or any other part of the cab, to route it back to the bed. I have a 04 4x4 KC, if that matters.

Also, for power, right now I am looking at tapping one of the cigarette / aux power sockets in the dash, but I am wondering if Nissan was good enough to give us a switched aux power wire for this kind of use. I know my Jeep has both a switched and always on aux power wires just for such use, if you know where they are. Anyone know if Nissan was this good to us?

Thanks

Re: CB Installation Questions

The driver's side one is always live- passenger side is switched with the ignition.

Get pics when you install the CB- I want to install a CB too- but haven't found a good spot. Between the brake controller, Sirius & GPS I'm running out of room within arms reach.

Re: CB Installation Questions

I threw my old HR-2510 in the Titan for my trip to Arizona and i just put it in the center console since there is no good place to mount it...

I have a Wilson 1000 Mag mount antenna on the roof for now... But plan on installing it on the left inner fender.

Any pics of this setup would be a GREAT thing! I thought about a floor mount that bolts to the right side hump and would make it adjustable.
Similar to this.
