Definite do your self deal. The quality...well it wasn't what I hoped for from a $500 monitor. It's okay visually but mine squeeks a little. Part of that is that I have the armada so the 8' of headliner bounces a lot, I expect in a Titan it is much more stable.

The headliner bounces??? wtf? Did u install a bracket to mount the system? Sounds scary dude.
There is nothing really to mount to when you hve a sunroof. They have an aluminum brace that really isn't very stiff. It run the width of the cab but is only attached at the ends to let the sunroof shade to slide back over. I've added the service bulletin bracket which helped but not a great deal. I'll tear it down again when it gets a little cooler to see if I can add a few more points of attachment. It seems to of gotten worse so I'll have to see whats up with that. Its a common problem with the Armada, even the stock system does this.

That's what I've done. Armadafication and I were trying to fix this back before the TT CT and CA days on freshalloy. He's the one who first tested the DVD mod. I found out how it was suppose to work but didn't have the tools to test and was afraid to screw up the HU, he's an electrical engineer so I told him what I had found and he tested it....the rest is history.

Put one in the new Tahoe, like these better than the others.

Easy install in my CC, replaces the rear OEM overhead storage bin and color matches, so no need to cut/modify headliner. 9.5" of widescreen, DVD Picture quality is very nice, not best but above good...TV picture quality is ok, depending on reception. No shakes, squeeks, just doesn't have side to side swivel ability but my kids don't need it.
