Question RF 3sixty help

Hi I'm new to the Titan Talk been reading it for a while but first time I've posted. I'm going to install the RF three sixty and I want to keep the stock RF head unit. I need to know if it's better to splice in behind the head unit or after the amp. I would like to keepthe fade control.

Re: RF 3sixty help

I looked at the specs. It has both high & low inputs. If you use low inputs (at the back of the HU) the only ones available are LF,RF,LR,RR (There is no sub or center out). I believe that the sub & center out signals originate at the OEM RF amp.

The fade control originates at the HU, so I don't think it matters whether you tap at the HU or after the OEM amp.

I think there have been prior posts about the JL Clean Sweep, which seems to be something similar.

Apparently derived by the oem RF amp from one or more of the four channels from the HU. I don't know the details, although maybe it says something about that in the service manual.
