Aftermarket Radio Install Help!!! Please!!!!

i have an 06 titan le crew cab with the RF 6cd changer. i just semi-installed my avic-z1. however... there is NO SOUND! i have a metra nissan 95 and up wiring harness #70-7550 that i got for the install. however... it almost seems like i am missing 1 more harness to hook up the speaker wires. everything else works on the head unit... dvd navigation and so forth... just no sound with anything...

please help...

if anyone has installed an aftermarket radio on an 06 with the Rockford 6cd changer please let me know so maybe i can trouble shoot. thanks

You are aware that the Rockford system (std on LE) uses an external amp. Did you connect the amp turn-on wire from your new HU?
Your best bet would be to bypass the Nissan amp (it's less powerful than your new HU). Search on my screen name, I posted how to bypass the amp for the '04 which has the same wiring as the '06.

Hello, I got the same problem with Jensen 9511TS after everything istall i don't have sound in the speakers. I tried to find in your screen name "how to bypass..." but I didn't find yet. Can you help me??

Please read the stickies in this forum...it's kinda complicated to explain..and has been explained before.

To sum it up, you don't just add a deck in the titan, you add a deck, and speakers, or a deck, an amp, and speakers. Unless you like the smell of 2ohm loads smokin' your deck that is.

I went from Circuitcity and the guy over there said that i need to use Metra 70-7551 and that is it. Tomorrow I gonna buy and try!!
