subs help

What are some good subs that'll get pretty loud and shake up the whole truck
but fit under the back seats?

Re: subs help

The mounting depth you're kinda limited on the SPL subs. Subs below I know will fit and are SQL drivers (well some are SPL too)....they will get PLENTY LOUD... as for the "kid bass" as I call it....LOL.....others may chime in and give you some suggestions. You can get subs with a bit more mounting depth in an up-firing box. If you go with a down fire box you are more limited... The most I've seen is 6 inches mounting depth on the down fire box. The up fire box you could go as high as 7 inches.....but I think you would have to remove the grocery hooks under the seat. You could always raise you seats too....I did this on my 2004 Titan and was able to fit taller subs.

Zapco CW-12
Zapco R12H
DLS Nobelium 12's
DLS Iridium 12's
DLS Ultimate
Stereo Integrity 12" MAG D2 (will fit with an up firing box)
Stereo Integrity 12" BM D4 (SPL SUB)
Critical Mass ULS12's
Critical Mass ULS15's
Diamond Audio D612D4
Diamond Audio D612D2
Kicker L7 or L5 in 10" will fit.....those are SPL subs. Not sure if the 12's would fit...probably in an up firing application you could get them too.

Re: subs help

i have 2 diamond d3 10's under my seat in a custom box with a d6 1000.1 amp. im in high school and all my friends systems are louder than mine, and paid about half the price, as lizard calls it "kidz" bass. my sytem can get loud, but it is mostly for SQ. so, if you want so real bass, you need to drop some $ on install/good equitment. i would recomend 4 jl w7 8" firing horizotal. i herd this in a silverado under the seats, WOW IS ALL I CAN SAY, 2 would probalby do it.
