as soon as the holidays are over i will be constructing a fiberglass enclosure for lizardking. now the boxi just built him is just awesome. but we have decided to build something as unique as his audio system is . i will be posting pics along the build and kind of a 411 on laying glass and how to prep it for paint. i know a lot of shortcuts . i have been building glass enclosures for almost 13 years now. and im sure some of you may have some insight on how to make it better or just some sugestions. i am all ears as is lizardthe king. thanks again for all of your support.and lk you are the man.
Wow man, your going crazy with these sub boxes. But then again, after watching your trends over the last year it doenst surprise me! Congrats on the new box... and amp!

we are going to trully make this a work of art. it will be the ultimate enclosure for the titan.
So are you planning on making these available for everyone or is this a one time deal?
Maybe you could give us a little more info of what will make this box so much different.
its all up in the air right now. im still laying out the plans. i just ordered the fleece yesterday. its not going to be square for one thing and it will probaly contour and flow the shape of the seat. im not sure yet about building more than one . the cost would very high because the work involved is going to be extreme. its just something ive been wanting to do for awhile now. i use to do alot of these kind of boxes at my shop in atlanta. now i do more wood because of time restraints on most of the demo vehicles i have to build at the shop. its always i need to be at this show in like 7 days.
im planning on doing a little work each night after work and kind of doing a thread on how to build glass enclosure for yourself. to me its all about showing others how to do stuff the right way. there are alot of people who want to do glass work but will not try because they think its really hard. its actually easy once you get started . the only thing i can not stand is the smell and mess. my wife hates the smell of it and half my clothes smell like it everyday when i get done in the wood shop. i get the lecture about how i need a shower in the wood shop. women. gotta love them.Actually my wife is pretty understanding. She reads all my directions for me since i refuse to read intructions unless i have a problem.Come on guys i know im not the only one that does this. You know you put your kids toys together at christmas and its upside down . and your wife is sitting there reading the instructions and tells you how to fix it when you are ready to throw it out the window,

i will with links on where to get the stuff i use for yourself.
Tech if you're going to "mass produce" the box PM me and I got some tips, though I'm pretty sure you got it. We just learned the hardway, doing one was fine, but four back to back...well, no corners were cut but had to find efficiency somewhere.
The fiberglass enclosure imho is the way to go if you have the time, money, and effort. At Elegonics, the best enclosures done were the FB boxes, with your experience I'm sure you'll build a bada** box. Looking forward to seeing it.
Hey liz, how are you working a sundown in with your XXKs? Are you going active?
I just bought a couple of new amps myself. an FD4150 and an FD1200.1, neither is going in my titan however. If was going to go all ZED but I got the FDs super super cheap (hot I think) so I couldn't turn it down. I looked at the sundown but they don't have anything 200x2 which is what I wanted.
