crew cab dvd player question

today my friend from work let me borrow beerfest

and i wanted to watch a little of it at work and i couldent figure out how to get the sound to go through the stereo

, i got it to work before when i first got my truck, but that was 2 years ago, and i only got it to work by pressing every button 10 times trying to find out what i needed to do. so if i could get a helping hand i would greatly appriciate it on those boring days at work, along with my coworkers!

If it's the factory dvd system, you can either hit the DVD button on the headunit or hit the mode button on the steering wheel till it scroll to DVD.

I'm not sure if you have the in dash or the rear dvd screen but make sure you hit the headphone/speaker button. This will change the audio from you speaker to the headphone jacks and vice versa.

its the factory rear seat dvd system. i tryed pressing the headphone speaker button and it didnt work, the dvd light was on in the back seat and i had the stereo under the aux selection. i am hoping nothing is broken.

i never tried using my wireless headphones yet they are till in their original bubblewrap pakages.

Two much typing for a one finger typer...but your owners manual well tell you. If you have the Nav system it well be real detailed in the Nav manual. I'm able to make mine work,and if I can anyone can. It sure keeps the grandkids quiet

If you're trying from the back seat, make sure the rear controller is not turn off. The rear controller can be turn on and off at the head unit. There's a button on the HU marked Rear AV.

figured it out!!!! it was the mode button on the steering wheel. there is no button for DVD on the radio, i always thought the aux input was for the DVD, but thats for the plug on the radio for ipod or something. i was like

time to watch beerfest at work!!!
