1 questions & 1 problem...

Two questions:

I have an '05 crew cab with the 6-disc changer. It is NOT the RF radio. Is this radio an MP3 player or just CD's?

Also,

when we first got the truck it would play any CD. Now it seems like it won't play burned discs. We did have some work done on the stereo with the addition of a complete system, and all CD's play except buned discs. Are there certain types of discs that will not play or did something get messed up when they installed the amps and subs?

05 is CD only, no MP3.

As far as the CD player not working, you can try to clean it but it sounds like its dying on you.

Re: 1 questions & 1 problem...

Well in my experience when a CD players laser starts to not work as well it cant read the CDR's because of the way that it is made. A real CD is easier for a CD player to read. Try different brands of discs. Sometimes certain brands work better than others.

So my guess is that your laser is either dirty or getting weak and cant read the discs as well.
