There it is, with a woofer already loaded in it. Not sure what I will do with my 10" Assassin that has never even been plugged in, but I could never find a decent box for it at a reasonable price.
Well now my search is over sub and box in one, all I have to do is plug in the amp and run the 2 wires to my power/ground distro block. It should be here soon.
The box looks to be built extremely well, and already coated with spray on liner. I have been emailing with probox for quite some time now and have seen pictures of the woofer and boxes as they were building the first one. It looks like some good stuff and they definitely spent some time on its design. They are actualy using the air space between the port and rear door to create some resistance, so they recommended I do not turn the sub all the way up with the rear door open. They have not only taken the specs of the sub and design of the box into consideration but also the layout of the truck.
This will complete the audio install I started almost a year and 1/2 ago. Truck is ready to go, fully sound deadened (except ceiling) foamed for noise reduction, 1/0 ga wired and fused, RCA's already waiting for amp under the seat. DMM in hand, beers stocked in the fridge! I can't wait!

They should be around $400-450 depending on options according to my source.
They had tested a sealed box that holds 2 10" subs as well, but I'm not sure if they are going to sell them or not. I have reason to believe that this particular single 10" version will consume less power sound better and be louder than the dual unloaded box they tested.
It also appears there is an unloaded version of the CC ported box. The ported one is designed to fit their custom subs. They are making their own custom subs now as well. This allows them to tailor the sub and box to fit in the vehicle and sound good.
get on from tech12volt and some cheap subs. he is amazing and builds the best box for the titan. that box looks cheap and not durable, plus why pay 500 when tech12's is under 200??

These enclosures are not cheap built junk, and come with the subwoofer. I happen to like the sprayed on liner the best as well. A ported box if constructed well can be lounder than 2 of the same subs in a sealed enclosures and still sound great. Alternatives are nice when there can be problems with the subs getting muffled by the seat rather than optimaly delivering sound.
These are not individual custom boxes but that does not mean they were not designed well.
I will be sure to post pics and let everyone know how it sounds when I get it. Then I can at least compare it to my friends chevy silverado with 2 10" W6 in a sealed box, and what I remember from an Arc 12" in custom fiberglass box in a titan etc.
I will definately say the Arc, Arc 12 black cone woofer sounded real clean to me.

options are always great. i actually used these boxes for a while in the shop. all i have to say is give it 60 days and see if you still feel the same.

Always give your customers more than they expect to get. And you will get more customers than you expect to get.
They do look pretty cool, and I like how the sub is exposed to the cab while the seat is down but I often prefer the sound of a sealed box. And for 500 bucks with a "unknown" sub I'm not sure its worth it.
Also if Tech12 says they wont hold up I believe him although the construction of the one for the CC looks pretty rugged!
I thought this box was cool when I saw it as well, since i go to the desert all the time and tried to convince my dad to get one.

Where did he say the box would not hold up? He has not tested the ported box for the titan either, it was just released, and there sub is new and looks impressive (although I know looks don't mean squat). Also the box is again NOT $500 I was told it will be $400 for the box without the plexy and $450 for the box with it, but don't quote me on the prices.
Again although these are not individual custom boxes, they put some time into them and tried a different designs, made adjustmest etc before releasing it. So far I would not even consider getting the JL stealthbox for the KC titan, but I'm excited to be getting ths probox. If you have a CC you have alot more options for subs than us KC owners, without going to $$$ custom fiberglass enclosures. Seems to me that the price tag is about right...

I have heard the ProBox in a Titan Crew Cab. It is a nice design if your looking for modest clean bass that is comparable to JL Audio's Stealthbox. I don't know about the longevity of this unit, but I do like the overall look besides the newly added King Cab plexiglass window. Makes it look cheap. If your friends JL Audio W6's are in an optimal enclosure and have adequate power running to them the ProBox won't even compare. If your looking for something with more power and a wide array of sub options, tech12volt's custom built SQ Plus enclosure is the way to go. You can build a bad a** setup with subs for about the same price as the ProBox.
The W6's are in a custom built Downfire box in my friends chevy. The box is built to spec and he has plenty of power.
I'm hoping to get something similar with the probox, or perhaps a little cleaner like the Arc Audio sub I listened to.
Jl's stealthbox for the CC is 2 W3's which is probably enough bass for me, but the stealthbox is only a 10" W1 for the King Cab, I think the probox should put that to shame...
So you think 2 10" Assassin Subs in a sealed box will be louder than this 500 watt sub in a ported? I would think they should perform similar but also require a new amp for me.
I like the plexy window, because the sub looks pretty cool so I may as well be able to see it, it's not huge anyways. What I didn't care for was all the writing on top but thats hidden by the seat anyways. Now I'm being picky...

I would not recommend down firing W6's. JL W6 is one of the cleanest sounding subs made period. If your freinds W6's aren't clean, there is something wrong. I agree, the ProBox is more powerful than the King Cab Stealthbox. I will not say Assassin's will sound better than the ProBox but I do have a long list of subs that will. Like I said, if your looking for modest clean bass I think you will be happy with the ProBox, but it is not going to blow you away.
Yes W6's are great SQ subs although a bit overpriced.
Great please send me a list of subs that will sound as clean or better than the the probox which have less than 5.75 inches mounting depth and will fit in small enough airspace to go under the seat (about 1.75 cuft of airspace).
Right now only the JL W3v2 (not V3), Adire Koda, 10" DLS Nobellium, 10" Assassin, Critical Mass 10" or an Arc Audio 10" with bottom cap removed really come to mind as candidates for a sealed downfire/ported box in the King Cab, some of which I'm not sure would sound better and get louder than the poerws probox sub?
I don't think it is very easy to fit anything over 5.75 inches mounting depth under the KC rear seats without fiberglass or modifying the seat.
If i am wrong, please link me to someone who has done this...
Again if you have a CC you have more options but for those of us with a KC this looks pretty good to me.
