Maybe, but he appears to be pretty lame.

Re: a bad install

If a shop tell me one month and is not finish or look like they will not finish it on schedule, I would have took my truck back and take it else where. This guy left his truck at a shop for one year. If the shop have to pull it in and take it out of the work bay, that could account for the extra milages. Not saying that his story is not true but I can't really make a judgement on a one sided story.

Re: a bad install

How about this... A custom car or truck is supposed to be a reflection of ones self and inginuity. That's what you get for cheating. Do It Yourself Loser!!! You'll appreciate it more when its done.

Re: a bad install

Clearly this is an example of yet another individual with more money than brains... I don't care how great the shop was, if I was quoted about a month and after 3 or 4 they were still not done, I would have taken my truck someplace else. Left it with them for a year - what a dolt!

Re: a bad install

Thank god that is not a Titan. Everything about that install bothers me. The overall design is gay. Why would you spend all that money and then install a bunch of junk to begin with? That system would suck even if everything was done perfectly. Aside from that, take those motherfvckers to court. Not only did they do complete bogus install they should never have agreed to that design anyway. If anyone made those sort of errors on anything of mine there would be some broken bones. Hyper Audio is a bunch of clowns. I would dig up as much dirt on them as you can and put them bastards out of business. If not, throw 'em a blanket party...

Re: a bad install

That was the first thing I noticed too. The equipment was crap. What a joke and a waste of money even if it was a perfect install. ILMAO

Re: a bad install

I noticed the reflection in a couple of the pictures shows a pretty young kid. Besides that, he mentioned driving it down to texas....where did he drive from?

I hardly believe that a shop did all the body damage, but hey, you never know. If he had any sense in him, he would have already found an attorney and sued him. That is a pretty major lawsuit (not small claims).

I'm sure with money won, lawyer fees, court costs, etc. he is probably looking at a 8-9k lawsuit, if not some more.

I wonder who the jackass was that told him that was the place to go?!

Re: a bad install

i dont understand how all that would take a year. even tho the shop did such crappy work on it they prob. lost money on the whole project. i mean if they got it done within a month and got 12k for it, they yea they would make profit on it, but a year?

also im sure theres another side to the story that this guy isnt telling. im sure if was there a year for a reason, maybe money issues since someone said he was a young kid? but still its an SRT10 and that along must have cost his parents alot.

all i know is that they did very crappy work. i love doin stuff like that and i am very very anal about how anything comes out. even if its not mine and im doing it free.

Re: a bad install

You have got to be kidding me! If my service guy says my truck will be ready at 4:00 and it's not, I start to get a little agitated. If it was supposed to take a month and it took 5 weeks, I would have someone's head on a platter. I have a feeling this is a very, very one sided story. And by the way, $13,000?!? Take that money, sell your Dodge and buy a Titan.
