NEED HELP! Opinions on speakers, AMPS and SUBS

Hey guys looking to upgrade my stereo system and was looking for some new speakers and amps and subs( as title says) to install and don't know where to go with this one. I want a clean soundbut nothing too expensive but not too cheap. I know i'm gonna spend quite a bit but don't want to go to crazy on this. Any and all opinions would help and examples of some mods by the members would help also thanks for the help in advance.

Re: NEED HELP! Opinions on speakers, AMPS and SUBS

A 300 or 400 watt (Class AB) 4 channel amp would be good for your doors and dash, and 400 or 500 watt minimum (Class D) mono amp for the subs. 2 shallow mount 10's and a good signal correction device for the factory HU (if you're keeping it). That's where I'd start. The rest is what you're willing to spend vs. quality.

Re: NEED HELP! Opinions on speakers, AMPS and SUBS

I would save for awhile longer. A decent headunit will cost you $250-$400 alone. I wouldn't do any upgrade unless I was willing to spend at least $1400.

Re: NEED HELP! Opinions on speakers, AMPS and SUBS

This is one hell of a deal for a real nice headunit...
http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-ECLIPSE-CD50...QQcmdZViewItem

Start piecing your system together bit by bit until you can get everything.
