Debadged DEH-680MP

I hate all of those rediculous logos on my cd player so I took them off. I really like the results it looks a lot more "Premier" than it did when it arrived. What do you think?

looks pretty clean. almost hard to tell the difference w/o all the lights on, vs the 1st pic.

Re: Debadged DEH-680MP

Toothpaste and a rag. Crest Extra Whitening w/ tarter protection - clean mint to be exact. I don't think the brand made a difference.

I started lightly scratching some of it at work with the end of a mechanical pencil (which I don't advise!!). That scratched the surface a little so then I got one of those finger nail polishers and that smoothed out the scratches a little but it wasn't shiney. So I took a very small amount of toothpaste and started rubbing until smooth. Then I tried the other logos with toothpaste alone and it came out great without scratching it. I even took out a few hairline scratches that I got from handling it.

If you look very close at the ones I did with toothpaste alone you can still see a very light impression where the paint was, but you really have to look close. I only did on the clear plastic surface and don't know how it would turn out on a different type of plastic, but I'm going to try it on my cell phone too.
