No Display On Radio
Well this morning my parents took my truck and when they got back my aftermarket radio wasnt working anymore. my mom later confesed she had rubed two peeled wires together wich are the power wires for headrest monitors. The reason this affects the radio i believe is bacause those wires were taped in to the wiring harness. Anyway well now the radio wont turn on the only thing is does is release cd's or get them but the it shoots them right back out. It shows no display my first though was Fu(k there went 600 dollars but after trying to connect the stock radio it too would only eject cd's no display either i have no idea what to do i changed the fuse just in casa but nada anyone have any ideas of what to try next?

i dont know if this matters but friday night my battery did die because i had the healights and the radio with out the car running
|

sounds like the switched power wire may have gotten zapped.

i would check in-line fuses etc......etc.......

First check the mini-blade fuse (10 amp) at the fuse block (marked audio).
