smaller antennae

Since I live in windy Kansas, my stock antenna constantly gets blown about, and I personally think it's kinda ugly.

Are there any aftermarket antenna replacements? Preferably one that wouldn't stick out at all, otherwise a stubby.

Thanks!

Re: smaller antennae

Be careful. The other trucks will tease your Titan cuz it's got a "stubby"....

There are a ton of them on eBay and most have online stores. Just search for "stubby antenna" in the auction search section. They're on there all over the place.

Re: smaller antennae

"Nissan Titan Antenna" netted the following:

(Billet) - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Bille...spagenameZWD1V

(Flame Billet) - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Flame...spagenameZWD1V

(Billet, black) - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Bille...spagenameZWD1V

^^^^^^This one would be my choice....

Re: smaller antennae

I picked up one at wally world that was supposed to boost reception, but it's about as good as the OEM, but I kinda like the look.

Re: smaller antennae

From stylin concepts, I came across an aluminum antenna called the phatty. It is 1/2" diameter most of the shaft, and 1" diameter at the base! It cost about $30 and was worth it. Look tough, is very sturdy to say the least!

I've done a lot of metal work, otherwise I never would have considered such a wild antenna. I love it.

Re: smaller antennae

I never listen to the radio, so i don't really need my antenna for that.

However, it is also a great warning system for low ceilings and beams in parking structures etc.

Re: smaller antennae

I've always liked the airplane style on the late model Chevys. It would look a little silly on the fender though.
