Re: Need Suggestions: Amps and Wiring and Battery for KC.
you are talking about a downfiring sealed box? what is the floor clearance you will have? I thought you said 1 in. somewhere. I am getting tech to put 4 in. in mine.

I have about one inch from the surround on the sub to the floor after the box sinks about 1/2 inch into the carpet. 4 Inches, will require the use of a shallow mount sub but You would probably have a very small volume in the box, unless you are recessing the sub.

Actually I am completely removing Striders rear seats. Tech is building an enclosure for 2 12" Stereo Integrity D Mags. Stider will be running 2000 RMS @ 0.5 ohms to these bad boys.

Ahh Cheater lol. Should sound really amazing, Actualy I should probably just do the same thing I have only used the rear seats for passengers like 3 times lol...Why not upfire if your removing the seat anyways? Or are you planning to toss crap on top of the box like me?
I don't really need that much output though, I think I would probably be ok with a single 10" TC1000, but since my box is for 2 I'm going to go ahead and go with 2 subs. I'm fairly happy with just my Assassin to be honest I'm super hesitant on ditching it or selling it. The SQ is excelent, but a little lack in the frequencies. I just want a tad more output to keep up with the frontstage; now that I have that arc audio amp the Iridiums are damn loud, I can't bear to crank it up all the way.
I'm trying to retain the factory look, less prone to theft in Los Angeles. My Hu for example does not look super fancy but it is great Quality inside and out and very functional. I'm afraid I may have to start riding the metro to work and back if gas goes up any higher, and leaving my titan there leaves a bad taste in my mouth, when I was riding it before I would see a few broken windows and thefts almost every other day. It adds another 3 hours to my daily commute but I can't afford to spend $3.50 a gallon and comute to work 35 miles a day through big city traffic. I just don't get paid enough! Gas is about 3.15 average here now and downtown where I work it's probably about $3.33 or so (I never stop there anyways).
I'm hoping to pickup my Kinetik battery this weekend.

There will be a table on top of the box for storage. Strider is going a bit crazy with this system. Dual Batteries, High Out Alternator, EQ, sound deadener, etc. I am the lucky devil that gets to do the install.

Have fun ripping out the interior. I don't rememebr how the shifter in the center console came apart, I remember there was some trick to it. When you get that far maybe take some picks and post a how to? Come on man I know you want to

The Titan is one of the easiest vehicles to take apart. American and Japanese cars are a piece of cake, I could do it in my sleep. LOL. Germany and Italy is where things get a little tricky.

I guess but it is still alot of work, I remember doing mine i'm not sure I would go through all that again on another vehicle.

Using the packing peanut method, the probox came out to .65 cuft on both sides. Maybe slightly larger.... After displacement though it is a small box regardless. Hopefully the production version will allow a little more airspace.
I got the TC1000's in but one side has an airleak, if I carefully push the cone in I can hear the air hiss out over some of the screw heads. I don't know what is causing this as I don't believe air is excaping from the screw holes. I have a feeling the sub has a leaky surround
