Thumbs up 12" PORTED CREW CAB ENCLOSURE LOUD! (Pics)

This enclosure is for the Crew Cab and is built for a Memphis M1124(D). It is very LOUD and can be wired at 2, 4, or 8ohms depending on the M1 you chose so it will work with just about any amp. As you can see this enclosure is difficult to build but if you want loud bass this is your baby.

Interesting Design Buddy! but why 2 ports? And why have a port firing up at the seat instead of towards the door?

never heard the pro box. but this will be very loud. the m1 is a modular sub. kind of like a solo x . And they do get very loud. plus this box is tuned lower 34 hz. so it should play really well.

Re: 12" PORTED CREW CAB ENCLOSURE LOUD! (Pics)

Either I've had a long day or I'm retarded but where does the port tie in from the sub chamber? The 4th picture from the left shows the port but it looks like open space inside the area over the hump to the port. Looking the picture of the sub chamber, I cannot see an opening for the vent. Am I missing something? Surely, all that open space cannot make the port??

The port is angled because the box is not deep enough for the port length. The air goes into the part you see and then down and out the front.

probably since it's a memphis 12" rather than a probox 10". I don't even have the production sub yet though it's in the mail as I type.

Any idea what the box is tuned to after being placed in the truck? I know probox claimed that although their box was tuned to 40 htz it is actualy much lower than that after taking the load area and port direction and cabin into consideration.

I like the way you recessed AND angled the sub. Does the box stickout from under the seat? I don't think that it would fit in my KC...

I dont recall probox claiming the grill added any volume, but that the sub was louder in their enclosure once they recessed it and added the grill.

How much power are you going to send this thing? Your going to go def

I will be sending about 1700 RMS to my ported enclosure when its all done. I honestly don't see Proboxes updated sub being that much better than the one you have.
