Ok, lots of oppions here. It would seem that everyone says 16ga is all you need for an install. Some say that any thing more is overkill and is throwing your money away(several high end installers, 2 company owners, and 1 SQ competitor. I am speaking of fronstage and rear fill. I know that 12ga is pretty standard for subs. I am installing some high end goods and want to make sure the signal flows well. I am itching to use some heavier ga, but if it is flushing the cash and I will not hear an audible diffrence, then no thanks. so what do you think?

I look for wires that have a lot of fine copper on the inside.I never buy wires that have like 5 strands of copper.It's up to you on what you prefer but I say 16 sounds about right for inside cabin.But for subs,go 12 or bigger.
