If you end up keeping the subs the D6's work best in 0.75-0.8 ft^3 gross.
I will never even see them, money was refunded minus shipping and they will never even land on my doorstep...
I got pwned by diamond and ebay....
I have all my money back minus the $56 for shipping.
Diamonds PDF says .6 something cuft for the sub, guess that is incorrect as well. I can't believe they are going to get away with this.
I think I will send them a copy of my bill and demand they cover it. I left a voicemail, alot of good that is going to do.
I seriously was eating canned food for a few weeks just to save up some cash and finish off the system. I guess another week of canned food to make up for the money I just lost...Or well, maybe not since gas is back up over $3 a gallon.

This kicks ***. With the 10's front firing I'll have all the space I need to fit both under just the 60% seat. I was going to start on the downfire box this weekend, thanks for saving me the redo!

They will tell you not to buy from an unauthorized dealer. They will give you the "when you were planning your system with an authorized Diamond dealer it was the dealers responsibility to catch this mistake, if the dealer did not catch this then the dealer should fully reimburse you" speach

0.625 + 0.1 for displacement = 0.725 cu ft. The sub will work in 0.5 to 1.0 cu ft just fine but .75-.8 is prime. Did you speak to Coy Roberts?

Heh, so what if I was purchasing USED? Or I was trying to build my own custom box?
Easy seat lift mod. Takes less than 10 minutes and costs under $10. I used 1" round 25mm thick anti-skid pads, 25mm rubber grommets, and 5/8" bolts. I picked the skid pads up at Home Depot and gained 1.5" of height at the front of the seats and the seats still latch. You could add washers if you need to go higher but the seats may not latch. This will allow for more room for your up/down firing enclosures. Lifting the front of the seat will also allow for forward facing 10's. Mounting depth will be around 10" in the King Cab depending on the magnet diameter.
i found the rubber gromets but what department was the anti skid pads in?
Yes. Purchased everything at Home Depot. I found the Rubber spacers in the section that has all the feet and sliders for the legs of chairs and tables.
I'm highly considering doing this to fit my TC 10 OEM's they are 7.5 inches deep but need quite a bit of space in front of them for clearance as well, so the trciky part would be a decent grill.
But then I need 2 PDX 1000's too (one for each sub )
With the seat lift the box can be around 11.5" high in front and 8" high in the rear. 2004-2005 rear seat is a little higher than the 06-07 Titan because the spacer is different but both should have about the same amount of max height.
I just make a set of aluminum spacers within the last week. Just a half inch thick plus the addition of the factory rubber pads works nice! It's nice having access to a CNC!!!

How much for a set of 1/2 inch spacers / are you willing to make another set? this is what I was thinking about. So you lifted the seats 1/2 inch and they still latch to the rear wall correct? Then used a rubber pad to lift the front 1.5 inches? That way you don't have quite as much of an increased angle in thr seat right?
I NEED to put these new subs in my truck they are calling me in my sleep to do so. Just need 2 PDX 1000's and a new alt and Box and Seat lift haha

These spacers(at least on mine) don't actually lift the back rest part. Go fold up the part of the seat that you sit on, and look where the square rubber pads are(about 1 1/8 square) there's 4 of them, 2 for each seat. The rubber pad is pulled out of the factory position, the nipple cut off flush, aluminum spacer is bolted to where the rubber was, then the rubber is double back taped to the top of the spacer. All the spacers do is give more incline to the front of the seat giving more room for your sub(s), so yeah, the seats do still latch on the back wall.
