I have 2x 100.4s and a 1500 in my basement waiting for my next car. I haven't fired them up yet but am very excited.
I keep reading that alot of people prefer the SAE look over the SAZ, but I have to disagree, I think the SAZ looks awesome, and the SAE look cheaper, but more old school.
I choose them over the FD arcs because of the size, and I choose them over the Audisons because of the price.
Considering that amps are just amps nowadays anyway........ I personally can't here a difference in midline to highend amps......Sundown is a great value for sure.

Yeah, once you get to that level size, heat dissapation, and efficiency is what matters.
Speaking of which, how can you tell how efficient an amp is (other than just looking at a fuse) if they don't publish it?
I would think it would need tested to determine efficiency.
Features, it what really matters today. Size, shape, ohm ratings, wattage, crossover network, channels and efficiency. Boils down to what YOU NEED not what you read.....

I would imagine you can somewhat tell the efficiency by the heat it gives off (not in exact amounts of course). Now an amp with a larger heatsink will be cooler to the touch so take that into consideration as well it is very important, same with having an internal fan.. However I'm finding my Diamond amp to remain very very very cool compared to my Hifonics, it is a little bit larver (not much maybe an inch) and it does have better heatsinking, but I mean the amp barley gets warm, my hifonics would get uncomfortable to touch at 1/2 the power...Hell my Diamond amp is also way cooler than my Arc 2100XXK which is smaller but way less powerful (Class A/B as well).
So there are variables that can easily be misleading but, wasted power produces more heat is my point...
And remember that amps efficiencies can change depending on the load as well.
