Damn, my light won't stop flashing after trying this method over and over again. I haven't installed anything recently, so it actually may be an airbag problem. I just want the damn thing to stop flashing!!!

another success story for this sticky... saved me time, money, and most of all, gaving to try and convince a know-nothing service guy at the stealership that there is absolutely nothing wrong, just reset the dee-amn! light already...

I installed a deck in my wifes Xterra and this worked perfect. First I tried to disconnect the battery, then I remembered about this thread I read along time ago. Did a search and found it.(Did not know it was a sticky). but disconnecting the battery caused the VDC control to turn off. I read the manual and it gave instruction on how the solve that problem.
Had to replace the air conditioner switch pack in my Armada. When completed, the switches worked but the airbag light was blinking. Found the procedure shared above in another thread on the site. Took 3 attempts but the procedure worked. Thanks for providing the information. Sites like these are invaluable.
You guys rock! I just installed a system over the weekend and assumed I had clipped a wire or forgot to rehook something up. Figured I'd check this forum before getting elbow deep in the dash. Thanks!
If someone can quote me on this at the top would save people some time and money, at the least headache.
When you remove the Dash of a Titan or Armada, DO NOT UNPLUG THE AIR BAG LIGHT. simply remove the 2- T10 torx screws that hold it to the back of the dash.
Technically I believe you can unplug it, but dont turn the key on with it unplugged... but its sooo easy to remove the 2- T10 torx, no need to chance it.

This will work as long as you do not remove the passenger seat either.
