Hello world of Nissan/Infiniti owners: I was extremely skeptical about how to reset (turn of supplemental air bag warning light) BUT, i read the posts and tried a few of them and nothing worked...until...i did one final stab at it. Mind you, i felt my chances were at about one in a million of this working (turning that stupid light off) but in fact it did work! I got in car and turned ign to "on" until light blinked the first time and then, as instructed here, turned off ign right away. did this a number of times, mabe 5-7 times. It is cold so i figured tomorrow i would see if i could find a "plan B". Just when i was about to throw the towel in...pow...it went off and stayed off. It is a Q45 Infiniti, so I guess Nissan uses the same basic system for most of their vehicles...anyway i am one happy camper..was trying to sell it and the car it was flawless...then when that fool light came on, i figured the light would be a deal killer. Thanks to you all!!! I never sign up on these forums but after my sucess, I just had to share with all...many thanks! from Fort Worth. Ron S.

my dealer told me too bad because i installed a system.

After a week of it being on, it turned itself off.

My air bag in my car Nissan currently not working properly. I went and saw my mechanic still i didn't receive any other better solutions.

All you guys have to do is not turn the key with the airbag light unplugged.
This is the only reason it turns on in the first place. If you disconnet the light, dont turn the key. Or you can disconnect the battery and you wont have any issues.

I tryed this over 30 times and the damn light is still there, im pissed. I did it word for word and nothing. Is there any trick to it or am I just SOL?
