HELP! Aftermartket stereo/wire harness
I'm trying to install the kenwood DNX7100. I think I bought the right wire harness (scosche nn03b). The problem is that I've matched all the wires up correctly, but the power didn't go on. Looking at the harness, it seems like the red/black wires are on the bigger harness from the radio, but on the smaller harness on the stock. I'm a little confused with the whole install. If anyone can help out, that'll be awesome. If anyone local wanna help out, I'll trade for my 3M clear protectant. I'm in OC.

the black wire on the harness for some reason does NOT go to ground.....i just cut it after the harness and grounded it to the metal bar behind the radio..works great.
so short version. cut /or tee splice into the black wire or the aftemarket harness and ground it too metal. done! hope this helps  |
