Question about factory NAV and Sirius OEM Unit

Have an 06 Titan and am thinking of replacing my OEM XM unit with an OEM sirius unit (NFL and NASCAR), wondering if anyone knows if the full artist, and song name will still display on the factory nav with sirius as it does now with XM. Thanks!

Don't know about the display. If you do swap out for Sirius what do you want for your XM setup? Also is your antenna on the windshield or the back window?

If they display does turn out to work the same way, I will be swapping. I'd have to think about the xm setup, I'd sell for at least half of what I paid, maybe less. You interested?

The song and artist will display on your nav system... but you must select one or the other with the tunning knob......

A 'for-what-its-worth' thing...
I have four xm accounts and now tow sirius accounts--one in my wifes BMW and one in my new Titan. Both of us wish we could get to XM, but the receiver is built in.

My xm radios almost never loose the signal (sure, under bridges etc) My new Sirius cuts out all the time. So does my wife's. I called Sirius, and they know about the problem--told me that XM has a lot more boosters;sirius had to cut down their signal strength, and so on.

Bottom line is this--I miss the good reception!! But another $500 to switch is more than I'll go...

FWIW, you could get an OEM XM unit for your Titan and install it yourself for less than $300...
