Here is another great thing Jacob did. I ended up wanting 2 different series of amps. One SAE and one SAZ. The problem is the amps do not match. After begging Jacob for a 4 channel SAE prototype he decided to build a hybrid for me. He took a 100.2 heatsink and put it on a 1000D so that it would match my 100.4. Now that is customer service.

I didn't ask for this. Jacob came up with the solution. I got lucky because he had an extra heatsink laying around.

I agree with you Drummer. I can only expect someone that is pushing a particular product to rant about how excellent it is. It wouldnt drive for good business if I am glorifying how junk my products are. Now I am not saying that Sundown is junk, I have never tried them before and I am curious to see how well they truly are. Its weird because at one time, even Audiobahn was sounding exactly like you Sundown guys do about quality this and that, no offense on the comparison. But hell, I'm sure even Soundstream, Crossfire, and some others as well have the same philosophies. I guess as a consumer, it comes down to where your gut is leading you. I wonder if there is a forum where as many of each product there is in existence, there is a rep there to debate these things. It would save on alot of phone calls if we all could just see it and read it all under one roof(website forum). Again, I am not trying to offend you guys from Sundown, believe me, I'm not the type to bash a persons business or their integrity, especially if I havent even tried their products or services firsthand. I will keep reading up on you guys. I will probably have some questions for you Tech12 or Sundownz if you dont mind them later.

Thankz,
Askari

Re: Amps, Subs, how good are they? Tech, P-Dizzle, anybody?

There is a lof of BS hype on the internet. Most of it coming from people that don't know what the fukc their talking about and you do need to be careful. The difference is James, Jacob, Lizard, myself and a few others are Audio finatics. This isn't hype. Tech12volts can sell any product he pleases. I haven't seen amps of this quality in years. I can't name one unhappy customer of tech12volts and like James I also always give my clients more than they could ever expect. I will put the Sundown amps up against any other amplifier made today. And as I have done in the past, I'll put money on it.

I see your point but let me correct you on some stuff. Soundstream at one time built one of the best amps on the market. They went bankrupt due to a faulty product. They were bought by a company that makes radar detectors and has been down hill ever since.
Audiobahn has built the same stuff from the beginning. In my opinion low end audio. The differnce between me and most companies is that I choose to sell sundown is because they were built that well. I am a custom sub enclosure company and master installer with over 16 years installing competing and judging. . I am very selective in the car audio i sell. Very selective. In 10 years sundown will be a zapco kind of company. I would bet on it. audiobahn , planet audio, and hundreds of other car audio companies are whores. They sell their product through thousands of wharehouses and internet companies and never check to see if their product is being represented and warrantied correctly. Its how much money is made instead of how well a customer is taken care of. Most consumers are speaking about 1 to 2 amps they owned 5 at the most. When i speak about a company i have installed , sold and owned 100s.Thats the difference between when I say a company builds something nice and when something is crap. My favorite comps are Dynaudio and many have heard me talk about how great they are and how I have them in most of my personal installs. And i do not sell them. Why? Because most can not and will not spend that kind of money on comps. I sold memphis up untill a few months ago. They had nice products that were built well for the money. I dropped them because they would not take care of one of there problems with one of my customers vehicles and Memphis stuff was selling like crazy. But if screw up you need to fix your screw up.
