factory RF HU help please

okay, so i followed the sticky write-up, and tapped into the speaker wires where the pillar (seat belt) is.

now my door speakers don't work, i took off the LOC, and still getting nothing.

did i maybe do something to the factory amp or something?

any help would be appreciated. thank you.

i'm getting no voltage to the rear door speakers now also. is there a fuse for the factory amp?

I'm not sure where the amp fuse is located, but yes it has a fuse. There are fuses in the panel on the driver side dash and also in the boxes under the hood near the battery. There are some high amp fuses on the connector junction at the positive battery terminal also.

Regarding no voltage at the speaker, that might also be caused by a break in the wire, rather than a blown fuse. e.g., if you mash a tap connector into the factory wire, it can sever the conductor. I like to solder & heat shrink rather than use the smash down taps.
