official "Titan Talk Car Audio Review" old and new

i did a search and didnt see anything on this, so i figured what the heck. i see posts scattered out across the forum about whats hot and whats not. anyways, just share stories here of your experiences you have had along the way with car stereo products. subs you spent too much money on that didnt last a month, or a p.o.s. amp you bought 10 years ago for $50 that you still have today. anything catch on fire, etc.........anything!

ill start off with the old p.p.i. amps. had a few....sounded great, but stayed in the repair shop more than they stayed in my vehicle. best amp i ever owned: old rockford fosgate 500.2 chrome. unregulated, and ran hot as hell, but she was sweet. could fry an egg on that amp, but it never farted once. anyways, whats up with p.p.i. anyways? anyone?

my very first amp was a haffler ma1 pushing two 15" mtx terminators. ****in loud. then a moved on to a pair of coustic amp 460s to push two 15" kicker comps which i still have stored away for memories. yeah i know, 15"s? i was 19 and rolling on a 84 regal. good times.

Re: official "Titan Talk Car Audio Review" old and new

I forgot what I had in my first car. They were 2 12s and I forgot what amp too. I had 3 Diamond Audio 8s with 2 Diamond Audio amps. I am still using the amps and I like them but if I end up adding more base (I really don't need it lol) I will need to get something with more power. So for me Diamond Audio has worked good for me.
