Question about subs and amps

If i am running 2 single voice coil 4 ohm subs from 1 mono amp what would the amps ohms be running at?

Also can anyone tell me what 2 dual voice coil 4 ohm subs from 1 mono amp be?

I have been away from car stereo for too long.

Does anyone know of a good installer in the Knoxville, TN area?

It all depends on how you have them wired........series or parallel. Do you know which way they are wired?

If the subs are wired (+) to (+) and (-) to (-) you are currently at 2 ohms. If you wire 4 ohm DVC subs in this matter your final resistance will be 1 ohm.

Ok thanks for the response, next question if an amp is 300x1 rms at 2 ohm will both subs get 300 watts?

Thanks again and last question for a bit. Are these good subs for one of Tech's 12in box?

Yes if you have a Crew Cab. If you have a KC those subs will suffocate.
