Question Help with replacing the RF HU

I attempted to replace the RF HU out of my 05 Titan LE using the same wiring harness from my 05 Frointier. Everything snapped together and the stereo powered on, but I got no sound. Does that have anything to do with the 3 connectors that came out of the back of RF HU or the connector to the bezel? Do these connectors need to connect back into something? I know almost nothing about car audio, so any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

There should be a bluw with white stripe wire on the harness and one coming from the new radio. connect these together.

Thanks...that was an easy fix. I have sound now, but there's quite a bit of background static. The only thing I can think of to cause that would be that I connected both the radio and amp ground from the harness to the same ground wire from the radio instead of directly to the chasis. Does that make sense or do you have another idea of what may be causing the static? Thanks again!

Re: Help with replacing the RF HU

Were you able to locate the source of the static? I replaced my RF head unit today with an Alpine IVA-W505 and i'm getting some static at very low volume and my speakers make a popping noise when the stereo firsts turns on.
