O.K. I need a computer for the office in my new shop. I need nothing fancy. just something I can get on the net with and I do like to keep about 6 forums open at once. I will be happy to trade out some audio work. Enclosure , subs make me some offers. I am not allowed to cut inot my wifes new furniture funds for the new house. LOL

I'll second that one. I've had 2 Toshibas. Both were POS. Big hardware problems. VERY unreliable and MANY repairs. I will never own a Toshiba again.

Re: Tech Needs A Computer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

buy a mac, I have had PCs for years, and last year I bought an iMac 24". I love it and will never go back to a PC, it is easy to use and is very reliable. If I had an extra one I would gladly trade it out with ya

Re: Tech Needs A Computer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had my Toshiba since 2001 and it is better than my current laptop. Best computer I ever owned but things could have changed since then. Mac is far superior to PC.

Re: Tech Needs A Computer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All PC's are pretty much the same. We swtiched from E-Machines to Dell in all of our stores and had nothing but problems. The E-Machines were way better and were $400 a piece and the Dells were nearly $2000 each. Huge disapointment but who doesn't have problems with their PC?

I can hook you up with a Dell Optiplex GX280 with 3.4GHz proc, 1GB of RAM, 80GB hard drive (SATA), XP Pro installed. I could use a box for my ED 11Kv.2 in my CC Titan. PM me if interested.
